Flamingo Beach

Flamingo Beach is surrounded by countless hotel complexes, which means that it can get very busy, especially during the high season.

This beach has a relaxed atmosphere and tends to be visited by families drawn to the comfort of its services and its calm waters. The beach has showers plus sun loungers and umbrellas for hire, and the promenade is lined with restaurants and shops.

Its crystal-clear waters make it a popular choice for diving and snorkelling, although it also has an excellent range of water sports on offer.

How to get to Flamingo Beach

As it's located in one of the main tourist centres of the island, Flamingo Beach is a fairly well-connected beach. Most of the tourists who come here walk to it from the surrounding resorts, although it's also easy to get to the beach by car as there's a car park nearby.

If you're staying in other areas and don't have a rental car in Lanzarote, you can also get to Flamingo Beach by bus, although it's important to note that this isn't the fastest or most comfortable option.
