Lanzarote Airport (ACE)

Lanzarote Airport is the island's main entry and exit point. It's located less than 5 kilometers (3 miles) from the capital, in the city of Arrecife.

Lanzarote Airport is the third busiest airport in the Canary Islands, just behind Gran Canaria and Tenerife South. It's located very close to the capital of the island, the city of Arrecife.

Due to the importance and tourist affluence of Lanzarote, its airport has a large number of connections with Spanish cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville, and numerous international hotspots like Rome and London.

Lanzarote Airport was opened in 1946 and has traditionally been one of the island's main economic assets. In the past, its main function was to offer charter flights from all over Europe, however, over the years it has become one of the top ten airports in Spain in terms of traffic.

In 2018 over 7.5 million passengers travelled through the airport, while cargo traffic rose to more than 1,600 tons of goods.
