Los Charcos Beach

Los Charcos Beach

Framed by two large volcanic stone breakwaters, Los Charcos Beach is a beach with calm waters located in the north of Costa Teguise.

The calm waters of Los Charcos Beach and its strong winds make it one of the favourite beaches for windsurfers.

Los Charcos Beach is only a short distance from Las Cucharas Beach, one of the main beaches in Costa Teguise, so you can effortlessly walk along the promenade to visit both beaches without having to drive. If you continue a little further down the coast, you'll reach the small Jablillo Beach.

How to get to Los Charcos Beach

By this beach, you'll find some of the main tourist spots such as the Gran Meliá Salinas hotel and the Lanzarote Sands Beach. For that reason, many families walk to the Plaza de Los Charcos.

If you want to get to Los Charcos de Lanzarote Beach from other parts of the island, the best option is to drive. You'll find a large car park just a couple of metres away from the beach.
